is_integer() function

The is_integer() function is used to test whether a variable is an integer or not. The function returns true if the variable is integer otherwise false.

is_integer(var_name)

Parameters:

*Mixed : Mixed indicates that a parameter may accept multiple (but not necessarily all) types.
