Python: Access the index of a list
Python List: Exercise - 20 with Solution
Write a Python program to access the index of a list.
Pictorial Presentation:

Sample Solution:
Python Code:
nums = [5, 15, 35, 8, 98]
for num_index, num_val in enumerate(nums):
print(num_index, num_val)
Sample Output:
0 5 1 15 2 35 3 8 4 98
Explanation:
In the above exercise -
nums = [5, 15, 35, 8, 98] - initializes a list of numbers with 5 elements.
for num_index, num_val in enumerate(nums): - This is a for loop that iterates over each element of nums and returns both the index of the element and the value of the element using the enumerate function.
print(num_index, num_val) – This line prints out the index and value of each element in nums using the print() function.

Python: Tips of the Day
Given a predicate function, fn, and a prop string, this curried function will then take an object to inspect by calling the property and passing it to the predicate:
Example:
def tips_check_prop(fn, prop): return lambda obj: fn(obj[prop]) check_age = tips_check_prop(lambda x: x >= 25, 'age') user = {'name': 'Owen', 'age': 25} print(check_age(user))
Output:
True
