UNCOMPRESS() function

MySQL uncompress() brings a compressed string back to its original condition. For compression, compress() function is used.

Syntax:

UNCOMPRESS(str)

Argument:

Name Description
str A string.

SELECT UNCOMPRESS(COMPRESS('w3resource'));

Explanation:

The above MySQL statement returns w3resource.
