JavaScript setYear() Method: Date Object

Description

The setYear() method is used to set the year for a given date according to local time.

Version

Implemented in JavaScript 1.0

Syntax

setYear(yearValue) 

Parameter

yearValue: An integer.

Example:

In the following web document setYear() method sets the year to 2089.
